Privacy Policy

Second Brain (brain.amoyashante.com) is an internal tool operated by Amoya Shante for her team. It answers questions about how the business runs, using an approved operations base kept in Google Drive. Only people an admin has invited can sign in.

• Your Google account name and email address, when you sign in with Google. We use them to check that you have access and to show who asked a question.
• Your questions and the answers, the pages each answer is based on, and any ratings or comments you leave.
• Usage counts, such as how many tokens an answer used, to keep track of costs.
• Google Drive documents, only if you are the owner of the Second Brain folder and connect your Drive (see below).

The owner of the Second Brain folder connects their Google Drive so the app can read the source material and approved pages in that folder and create SOP drafts in its Drafts folder. The app asks for full Drive access because Google offers no narrower permission that lets it read documents it didn't create, but it only opens files inside the Second Brain folder.

The app stores the text of those documents to answer questions, and an access token that is encrypted at rest. When the Drive connection is removed, the token and the stored copies of the documents are deleted. You can also revoke access at any time in your Google account settings.

Second Brain's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Only to run Second Brain: to answer questions with links to the right pages, to pass questions the base can't answer to the knowledge owner, and to improve the operations base. We don't sell your data, don't use it for advertising and don't use it to train AI models.

• Google for sign-in and for storing the operations base in Drive.
• Railway hosts the app and its database in the EU (Amsterdam).
• Anthropic provides the Claude AI model that writes the answers. Your question and the relevant pages of the operations base are sent to it to produce each answer. Anthropic processes this data under its commercial API terms and does not use it to train its models.

Our application logs don't contain the text of questions, answers or documents.

We only use the cookies needed to keep you signed in. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.

We keep your account details, questions, answers and ratings while your access is active. When your access ends, or when you ask us, we delete them.
